Come and celebrate all things 'food', from paddock to plate on Saturday 21 April from 10am to 4pm.
A feast for all your senses with cooking demonstrations, free food tastings, a sustainable gardening workshop, animals, kids eco crafts, live entertainment and loads of prizes up for grabs!

Do you have a prize-worthy pie recipe? Cook your best signature sweet or savoury pie and enter it into the Farmadale pie contest! There are over $650* in prizes up for grabs, plus all pies will be donated to Crossways Kelmscott, a charitable organisation assisting those less fortunate. Download the entry form and T&Cs here.
Bush Songs, Bush Tales & Barn Dance | 10am – 10.30am
Come and enjoy a good old fashioned barn dance with Fairy Sandie, the Bush Fairy. Fun songs and fascinating bush tales will be shared during this interactive instrumental storytelling session with amazing sound effects. Suitable for kids of all ages - including mums and dads!
Crazy Hat Day with the Kitty Cowgirls | 11.15am – 12.15pm
The ‘Crazy Hat Day’ show is all about having fun while playing and listening to music. Join Libby Hammer’s Kitty Cowgirls for a singalong – its interactive, it’s toe tapping and it encourages kids to celebrate life and to get up and dance. Bring your best singing voice and your boogie shoes – and a crazy hat if you like!
Roaming Characters | 11.15am – 2pm
Fruitloopy the Clown is coming to entertain us and spread the word on fruit! Don’t forget to look up and witness the bright colours and vibrant personality of Fruitloopy the Clown.
Oinky Oinky Piggy Wiggy really loves to strut his stuff, and comes with two of the finest cowgirls/boys you’ll ever meet. Don’t forget to say hello to Piggy Wiggy and Fruitloopy as they roam around the Centre during Farmadale!
'Grow your own' workshop and cooking demo | 1.15pm – 3.15pm
Learn about healthy eating, good nutrition and how to grow your own food for nourishment as well as pleasure. Join Lisa Passmore, horticulturist and landscape designer, who will talk about growing seasonal produce and provide tips on designing your own edible landscape. Kelly Ramsay, caterer & MKR grand finalist, will showcase how to cook your own amazing produce in simple and delicious ways.
Jump on and make your own pedal-powered healthy smoothies. Completely safe and loads of fun! Proudly supported by the City of Armadale.
Wouldn't it be great to learn how to "talk to the animals"?! Join in this fun, educational animal experience, and meet a real farmer who will explain what life is like on a farm and how they care for their friendly animals.

Play our “Farmadale” games, relax and read, or get creative with our nature-inspired recycled arts crafts activities.
See our talented balloon twister create the cutest balloon farm animals “quick as a flash” – choose your favourite: horse, dog, cat, duck, pig, sheep, cow or mouse.
Art Pop Up Exhibition, Live Art Challenge & Raffle
Check out the latest artworks by the Armadale Art Society at their pop up shop and exhibition. Six artists will demonstrate their skills and talents (all painting the same farm/rural-inspired scene but in different mediums) during two live art challenges starting at 10.30am and 1.30pm. Buy a raffle ticket to go in the draw to win an original painting by well-known local artist. Edward Beer.
